1. The Service
LexAI is a software platform offering AI-assisted tools for law firms and legal professionals, including intake, drafting, research, evidence organization and communications workflows. LexAI is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Output produced by the Service must always be reviewed and validated by a qualified lawyer before being relied upon or filed.
2. Account & eligibility
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into contracts. You are responsible for the accuracy of registration data and for keeping credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
3. Acceptable use
- Do not upload content you do not have the right to process.
- Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt or bypass the Service.
- Do not use the Service to produce unlawful content or to attack third parties.
- Do not use output as final legal advice without lawyer review.
4. Fees & trial
Subscription prices, billing cadence, taxes and trial terms are indicated at the moment of purchase. Trials are for evaluation. Recurring subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancellation stops future renewals; already-paid periods are not refunded unless required by mandatory law.
5. Data & confidentiality
Content you upload is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy and the Data Processing Agreement. We do not use your matter content to train third-party foundation models.
6. Intellectual property
You retain all rights over content you upload and over the drafts produced from that content. Digital Ways LLC retains all rights in the LexAI platform, its model integrations, UI, code, prompts, orchestration and documentation. You may not remove notices or resell the Service. The copyright in the LexAI website and platform is owned by Digital Ways LLC.
7. AI-generated content — disclaimer
AI outputs may contain errors, omissions, hallucinated citations or outdated law. The Service includes verification helpers but they do not substitute for professional judgment. You are solely responsible for reviewing outputs before use, filing or communication with clients or third parties.
8. Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Digital Ways LLC disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Digital Ways LLC's aggregate liability under these Terms is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
